With the end of the first time homebuyers tax credit, the real estate market has slowed by all accounts.  But maybe there is new incentive to buy.  Mortgage rates have hit a record low.  They have sunk to 4.69 percent.  The lowest since Freddie Mac began tracking rates in 1971.  The article below from msnbc tells more.

First Time Homebuyer Credit Extended for Military

It looks like first time homebuyers who are members of the military have additional time to qualify for the credit.  The deadline has been extended to April 30, 2011 for members of the military and certain other federal employees.  Our readers at Barksdale Air Force Base and those in the military transferring to the Shreveport/Bossier City, La area should take a look at this article…
